The Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival 2010 is now over
2011 Festival dates: 1-10 July
Enthusiastic audiences enjoyed a packed programme of music, dance, visual art, film, literature and food at venues across the city including the Bluecoat, FACT, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and National Museums Liverpool. Highlights included Egyptian music and film superstar Mohamed Mounir; Iraqi Maqam singer Farida and the ever-popular Family Day.
If you missed the main festival, there’s still time to see the Bluecoat’s ongoing exhibition, Arabicity, which brings together six thought-provoking artists from across the Arab world. (Until 5 Sept)
